LAPP Tannehill hires Jesse Hennen as Supply Chain Manager to oversee operations, manage inventory, and support strategic planning.

What are past positions you've held in your career? And what skills/experience do you bring to this position?
My past positions in order were:
- Commodity Manager at Emerson
- Supply Line Manager at Entegris
- Buyer/Planner at Entrust Datacard
I bring ~8 years of supply chain experience including: contract/pricing negotiations, supply management, and inventory management.

What’s your favorite part about working in your field?
The great people on my team that I get to work with.

What’s a new skill you’re hoping to learn or improve in this role?
I am hoping to improve on my people management skills. 

If you could switch careers for a day, what would you do?
I would be a Brew Master or fishing guide.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? What are your hobbies/passions?
In no particular order, I like to go: golfing, fishing, beer brewing/wine making, cooking, and gardening. 

Do you have a favorite book, movie, or TV show at the moment?
My latest show that I am watching is the Fallout series on Amazon Prime.

What’s something surprising about you that most people wouldn’t guess?
I graduated with a degree in Environmental Science, not something business or supply chain related.

What is one thing unrelated to work that motivates you every day?
My family.

If you could give your younger self advice, what would it be?
I would give my precollege/post high school self advice on what to expect from college and what to focus on in that phase of my life.

What is something that helps you through the workday?
Morning coffee and going for a walk every now and then.

What's a hidden gem (restaurant, vacation spot, park, shop, online store, etc.) that you think more people should know about?
The best restaurant in Shakopee is at the Stonebrooke golf course.
