Meet Gary Miller, LAPP Tannehill's newest District Sales Manager based in Cleveland, OH. Gary will manage accounts and expand our territory presence in OH, KY, and MI.

Midwest Sales Engineer – Lumitex  (medical and industrial lighting)
Inside account manager – TPC Wire
Northern Ohio DSM – Lapp USA
Regional Sales Manager – SAB North America
Strong technical/engineering sales approach

What’s your favorite part about working in your field?
Meeting new people and helping them solve issues/problems.

What’s a new skill you’re hoping to learn or improve in this role?
A better understanding of the technical advancements in the industrial market.

If you could switch careers for a day, what would you do?
Astronaut – I would love to explore space for a day.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? What are your hobbies/passions?
My top two passions are Walleye fishing Lake Erie and shooting in the Nation Sporting Clays Association.

Do you have a favorite book, movie, or TV show at the moment?
Landman.

What’s something surprising about you that most people wouldn’t guess?
I’m one of 7 kids so growing up with that many siblings comes with a lot of stories and great memories.

Do you have a hidden talent or skill you’d like to share?
I gutted my entire house, sub floors, and all, while working a full-time job. It took me 1 year to finish the project to my liking.

What is one thing unrelated to work that motivates you every day?
My family.

If you could give your younger self advice, what would it be?
Have more patience success comes with knowledge and time.

What is something that helps you through the workday?
People, I enjoy working with a team.

What's the most unique item on your desk or in your workspace?
Humidor.

What's a hidden gem (restaurant, vacation spot, park, shop, online shop, etc.) that you think more people should know about?
I belong to a private fishing and shooting club with over 500 acres of breath-taking views. It’s an outdoorsman paradise – Hill N’ Dale Club.
