LAPP Tannehill Welcomes New Intern

LAPP Tannehill welcomes David Kusche, our new intern from Stuttgart, Germany. David is doing a rotational internship spending time with LAPP Tannehill's Marketing and Purchasing teams to learn from their expertise and will also be travelling with our local sales reps to gain valuable hands-on experience.

What are past positions you've held in your career? And what skills/experience do you bring to this position?
This is my first job, but I’ve been studying logistics and supply chain management for 2 years.

What’s your favorite part about working in your field?
I like getting to know all the different departments and new people.

What’s a new skill you’re hoping to learn or improve in this role?
Getting better at sales in general and learning more about marketing.

If you could switch careers for a day, what would you do?
American Football Coach

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? What are your hobbies/passions?
American Football and riding my bicycle.

What’s something surprising about you that most people wouldn’t guess?
That I’m German, because my English is pretty good.

What is one thing unrelated to work that motivates you every day?
Getting to live together with my girlfriend soon.

If you could give your younger self advice, what would it be?
Make smart, strategic decisions and don’t waste your time.

What is something that helps you through the workday?
A walk outside.

What's the most unique item on your desk or in your workspace?
I have no idea, but I would say my headphones with cables because everyone has wireless ones now.

What's a hidden gem (restaurant, vacation spot, park, shop, online store, etc.) that you think more people should know about?
I’m not from here, so it’s the Dreamburger restaurant in Stuttgart-Botnang.
