Tannehill Hires Buyer to Support Supply Chain & Operations

Meet Gavin Bullyan, Tannehill's newest Buyer who will be managing end-to-end procurement to eliminate production downtime and meet demand.

What are past positions you've held in your career?
Past positions include Purchasing & Category Management Intern at Independent Natural Food Retailers Association (INFRA), Operations Associate at Alo Yoga, and Operations & Logistics Specialist at A-Condition Wheel Service.

What’s your favorite part about working in your field?
My favorite part about working in purchasing is having a wide range of responsibilities in a dynamic environment where I get to do lots of different tasks daily. I get to learn and face new challenges every day which keeps things fresh and exciting.

What’s a new skill you’re hoping to learn or improve in this role?
Two things I’m eager to improve on are outside vendor communications & purchasing strategy.

If you could switch careers for a day, what would you do?
If I could switch careers for a day, I would be an NFL analyst. They always seem to be having a good time and get to talk about a sport they enjoy.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? What are your hobbies/passions?
Outside of work I am passionate about everything that comes with bodybuilding & nutrition, as well as playing golf & pickleball, and watching football, basketball, hockey, and UFC.

What is one thing unrelated to work that motivates you every day?
The biggest thing that motivates me is being able to look in the mirror and know that I did at least one thing to improve a facet of my life that day.

What's a hidden gem that you think more people should know about?
A hidden gem more people should know about is the view from Capital View Park in St. Paul.
