About Scott

Scott has been married to his wife Cindy for 40 years. Together they have three sons — Cameron, Kyle, and Cory — and two grandkids. As Scott puts it: “With five boys, we’re always busy!”

Scott brings 37 years of wire and cable industry experience to our team, with career stops at Manhattan Wire & Cable and IEWC before landing at LAPP Tannehill. After leaving IEWC, he had plans to venture into a completely new business — until a phone call changed everything.

“While on vacation, I got a call from Mark and Patty. I agreed to meet them at the Houston Airport — and four or five hours later, I was back in the wire and cable world.”

That was 16 years ago — and he hasn’t looked back since.

What Scott Loves About His Role

For Scott, the best part of the job is the people. He values the genuine friendships he’s built here and the variety that comes with calling on so many different manufacturers and industries.

“I find it really interesting seeing how things are made and assembled — every customer is a different world.”

Scott also feels great about where the company is headed: “The collaboration between sales teams has never been stronger, and we have a great management team. We’re on the right track.”

When he’s not on the road, you’ll find Scott:

• Fishing — boat, kayak, surf fishing, and offshore bay fishing

• Camping trips with family

• Tending his garden (peppers, tomatoes, and a wildflower garden that attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees)

• Feeding the birds and squirrels in the backyard

Bucket List: A family trip to Australia — or heading to Kona, Hawaii to land a 500 lb.+ Black Marlin.
