This is the most common type of tray cable, and as the name indicates, the cable is insulated with a nylon coated PVC.
When the insulation on the inners of the cable is Thermoplastic High Heat Nylon, these cables can be referred to as THHN/PVC. Similarly, when the insulation on the inners of the cable is Thermoplastic Flexible Fixture Nylon, these cables can be referred to as TFFN/PVC.
