Category 5 “enhanced” is a 24 AWG twisted pair network (Ethernet cable) that provides performance up to 1000 mbps and is suitable for most applications for wiring data centers, office buildings or residential homes. Shielded/Unshielded, Plenum/Riser variants are available in almost every color.
- Bandwidth up to 350 MHz
- Supports 10/100/1000 Ethernet (Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet)
- Backward compatible with CAT5 cable
