LAPP Tannehill Welcomes New Outside Sales Rep for TX + OK

LAPP Tannehill hires a new outside sales representative for Oklahoma and northern Texas. Welcome Eric Burress to the team as he expands this south U.S. region.

Where are you from and where do you live now?
I was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.  My family and I currently live 20 minutes outside Dallas.

Pets/Family?
My wife and I have two kids.

What are your hobbies?
Hobbies include spending time with my family, working out, coaching my son’s soccer team and Dallas Cowboys football.

What are your favorite and/or recommended books, movies, tv series, or podcasts?
Anything Zig Ziglar… "If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want."

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An FBI agent or a trashman. Sorry, sanitation worker.

Where did you go to college and what did you major in?
I went to The University of North Texas and majored in Advertising with a minor in Marketing.

What are past positions you've held in your career?
Customer Service, Marketing, Project Manager, Inside Sales and Outside Sales

What motivates you to do better in your personal and professional life?
Being a role model to my kids is my biggest motivator personally and professionally.  I want them to grow up knowing that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to.

If you could give your younger self advice, what would it be?
No matter what anyone tells you, if you have the will and the desire to accomplish something, there is always a way to get it done.
