3M™ Cold Shrink Connector Insulators 8425-8 Series are open-ended, tubular, rubber sleeves which are factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core. The core is removed after the tube has been positioned for installation over an inline connection, terminal lug, etc, allowing the tube to shrink and form a water-resistant seal. This cold shrink insulator offers moisture-tight sealing while maintaining its prolonged resiliency and pressure. It is ideal for insulating secondary splices, direct-buried or submersible, dig-in repairs and physical protection of high-voltage, air-insulated connectors or lugs Length 3.0"
