In 1940 Henry Dudley Minich founded Tensolite, what is known at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies today. At first, Carlisle Interconnect Technologies consisted of a research laboratory employing six people in North Tarrytown, New York. While there, the company investigated the properties and commercial possibilities of various plastics and synthetic fibers.

Seamless™ M22759/80-/92 (SAE AS22759/80-/92) Wire

M22759 Wire (SAE AS22759)
Mil-Spec M22759 wire is designed for severe environment aerospace applications, such as engine controls and SWAMP (Severe Weather and Moisture Prone) areas.
MIL-C-17 Coaxial Cable
Mil-C-17 cables are constructed with either solid or stranded silver-plated conductors insulated with an extruded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) dielectric. The outstanding electrical and mechanical properties of PTFE over a broad range.
MIL-DTL-27500 Cable

MIL-W-16878 Wire (NEMA HP3, HP4)
MIL-W-16878 (NEMA HP3, HP4) wires are general-purpose, medium and high-temperature hookup wires, with PTFE or FEP insulation. Each insulation type is available in thin, medium, or heavy wall thickness, for voltage ratings from 250 to 1.

MIL-W-81381 Wire
Although designed for aerospace use, these wires are ideal for commercial applications which can benefit from their high-temperature rating and resistance to abrasions and solvents.
MIL-W-81822 Wire
MIL-W-81822 (SAE AS81822) wires have solid conductors for wire-wrap termination, with extruded insulation of PTFE, PTFE with polyimide hard coat, or ETFE. Each insulation type is available with a choice of three silver-plated conductors.
TYPE E, EE & ET Cables
Type E, EE, and ET cables feature extruded PTFE insulation with medium (0.010″), heavy (0.015″) and thin (0.006″) wall thicknesses. PTFE insulation provides high reliability, with excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance.
