3M^TM Temflex^TM Viny Electrical Tape 1700, 3/4" x 60 ft roll in black, 7 mil tape is a good quality, economincal general purpose vinyl insulating tape. It has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acid, copper corrosion and varying weather conditions. Tape 1700 is used for most wire and cable splices rated up to 600 volts, and is used for protective jacketing for high voltage cable splices and repairs. 3M^TM Tape 1700. It is a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tape that is flame-retardant and conformable. It is UL listed and CSA certified insulating tape.
