SKINTOP® SL, SLN & SLM Cable Glands
SKINTOP® SL/SLR, SLN/SLRN, and SLM/SLRM are durable, liquid-tight, easy-to-assemble strain relief cable glands that are universally suited for all types of machinery and equipment, including automation, motion control, process control, and robotics.
These cable glands/cord grips are designed with a polyamide body, and offered in a PG thread (SL/SLR), NPT thread (SLN/SLRN), or metric thread (SLM/SLRM). The SKINTOP® SLR, SLRN, and SLRM cable glands include a generous high-quality neoprene bushing that provides a liquid-tight and dust-proof hermetic seal.
Available in black UV-resistant or gray colors, the heavy-duty LAPP SKINTOP® cord grip design provides great pullout strength, making it a very reliable strain relief. The integrated locking mechanism includes an internal ratchet inside the sealing portion of the cord grip, providing a self-locking and vibration-proof element that prevents the cap from loosening even when subjected to severe vibration. The multi-trapezoidal thread requires just one twist to tighten the dome cap, automatically adjusting to the size of the cable and providing optimum strain relief and a liquid-tight seal.
