Developed for quick and efficient wire-to-wire
connections in lighting, appliances, HVAC and industrial
equipment/devices where low cost, wire terminations are needed.
Conta-Strips™ are modern replacements for traditional Double Row
Barrier Style Terminal Blocks. Unlike Barrier Blocks, they
feature a touch-proof design with totally recessed metal parts
which eliminate any chance of accidental shorts and minimize the
possibility of electrical shock.
Easy to use, Conta-Strips™ are supplied with
open clamps ready for immediate wire hookup. Simply, strip the
wire, insert and tighten the screw for a reliable electrical
connection. Conta-Strips™ eliminate the need for costly and
labor intensive wire preparations associated with the use of
spade or ring lugs. Conta-Strips™ are available in 12 Pole
Strips which can be readily cut to any pole position using a saw
or a utility knife. Or, they can be ordered pre-cut to the
required number of poles.
Use versions with standoff feet and a 600V
Rating for Industrial Control Equipment Applications such as
motor control where maximum creepage and clearance distance is a
design consideration. |

The tried and tested tension spring contact
block system from CONTA-CLIP offers the user numerous technical
innovations on the spot. With this system, a large number of
applications can be realized with minimal expenditure for
accessories. The CONTA-CLIP tension spring TOP connection allows
fast and secure connection of solid and stranded wires with and
without ferrules. The rated cross section of the spring
terminals is designed for wires with ferrules. The earth
terminals have PE base contact on both sides, therefore offering
mechanical and electrical security.

Screw type print terminals have been tried and
tested for quite a number of years now and it is hard to imagine
the printed circuit board without them. Available are the
wire-protection, eccentric top and
strain-relief-clamp-principles. All of them are based on modular
designs with two-pole and three-pole individual terminals which
can be converted into multi-pole terminal block by using
dovetail connections. This allows for flexible and economical
inventory management. In addition, some series also provide
“block design“ versions with a non-variable number of poles
ranging from 2 to 12 which are specially suited for long pole
applications.
Both the tension- and leg-spring-principles are
available as alternatives. Due to their technical design, these
principles are highly suited for extreme conditions such as
heavy vibrations, a corrosive ambience and extreme fluctuations
in temperature. The springs are operated by means of a
screwdriver, actuation tools or lever. Constantly high clamping
forces and good electric values can be achieved owing to perfect
material quality. |

ZSRK 2,5/2A/D/F and ZSRK
2,5/2A/RC are spring terminals for direct
mounting with an internal cross connection
channel. Compact and modular, they offer the
possibility (in a contact range of 0.08 mm2 and
rated voltage of 800 V) of mounting a terminal
block on the desired number of poles and then
screwing it ZSRK 2,5/2A/D/F or latching it ZSRK
2,5/2A/RC directly onto the mounting plate.
The direct mounting terminals can be used for
the mass production and mounting in confined
installation spaces.
Due to the different colours of
the insulating housing, individual connection
groups/power circuits can be distinguished from
one another visually. Using the standard cross
connector ZQI 2,5 (2 to 10 poles and 99 poles
available) a potential can be duplicated through
the internal cross connection channel.
Each clamping point can be
marked using the quick identification systems SB
or PMC. If no cross connection is inserted, the
cross connection channel can also be used as an
identification channel.
The terminal width of only 5mm
guarantees the greatest clarity when wiring in
confined installation spaces through the spring
top connection. |
