The European Union Directive 2002/95/EC Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) restricts the content of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products.  The European Commission has consulted to determine the maximum concentration levels of these substances, RoHS, which will be allowed in each homogenous material.  The RoHS maximum concentration levels are 1000PPM for lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, or PBDE and 100 PPM for cadmium.  The RoHS directive went into effect on July 1 2006.

In order to promote environmentally friendly, RoHS approved, products and meet our customer’s needs, Lapp Tannehill has compiled RoHS information from our suppliers during the last 3 years.  Many of the manufacturers that we work with have become RoHS compliant.  Look for special RoHS labeling on our packaging.

Lapp Tannehill may have a mixture of RoHS compliant and non-compliant RoHS material in stock for certain items.  RoHS status can be found on this website when looking up each individual RoHS item.  Customers need to note on their purchase orders that RoHS compliant materials are required to ensure receipt of RoHS compliant products. Visit our website at http://kltstore.kltannehill.com for RoHS availability.

Please note that this RoHS information is furnished based upon RoHS data provided by our suppliers.  Lapp Tannehill has not tested these parts to verify the RoHS data given. As such, Lapp Tannehill makes no independent RoHS representations or warranties, expressed or implied, and assume no rohs liability in connection with the use of this information.
