Copper Review as of 3/15/2010.
We experienced a significant increase in Comex copper during the month of February. Comex began the month at $3.046/lb and closed the month at $3.2385/lb. The Comex average for February was $3.1192/lb. So far in March, Comex continues to rise and is currently at $3.307/lb. With Chile being the world's #1 copper exporter, this increase is attributed to the recent earthquake there. While indications are that the earthquake did not damage any of the Chilean mines, it has caused power disruptions to the mining region. |

Kenneth Tannehill
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Kenneth L. Tannehill, the founder of K.L. Tannehill. Kenneth passed away at the age of 92 in January, 2010, at the home he loved and his family by his side. His early work history included senior development engineer for Honeywell Avionics Division. After eight years with Honeywell, he felt the urge to start his own company, K.L. Tannehill, a wire and cable distributor. He was very involved with the company and employees, even coming into work every Saturday to go through the mail. Mr. Tannehill sold his company to the Lapp Group in 2000, and then began a wonderful life of retirement. His wife Lennie (of 62 years) passed away just weeks after Ken. We offer our condolences to the Tannehill family.

PMA Cable Protection Systems is one of Lapp Tannehill's newest partnerships. PMA has been designed to protect cables and leads in extreme automation and robotic installations. All components help to reduce damage and outwear of the stear and lead elements and can therefore significantly increase the life cycle of the installation. The movements of the installation will not be limited.
Different conduit types for different applicational demands, supports and a range of accessories can avoid torsion forces on the conduits. If correctly applied stresses on the complete cable package can be reduced.
The PMA Cable Protection System for automation applications allows an optimum installation along moving elements as well as a quick and easy installation.
