Technical
language barriers
are quite commonplace today, and most of us have been confronted with at
least a few elements of such a barrier from time to time. Advances in
technology, and the introduction of new or unfamiliar product areas, all
require an expansion of our technical vocabulary if we are to communicate
effectively. Hopefully, this edition of the Glossary will serve as a
